How to play Bombeco with friends
You can play with whoever is next to you, with family in another city or with strangers. Up to four people per room, and bots can fill the spots that are left.
Room by code
It is the simplest way to gather friends who are not in the same place.
- The host opens the app, types a name and chooses Create online room.
- The room gets a six-letter code. It shows up big on screen and has a button to copy it.
- Friends choose Join a room, type the code and that is it. Anyone without the app can join through the browser, at bombeco.com.br.
- The host picks the arena, the number of rounds, the time and adds bots if they want. When everyone is ready, they start the match.
Public rooms
If nobody is around to play, open Public rooms. The list shows who is playing right now, how many players have already joined and whether the room is open, full or in a match. Tap an open room to join, with no code. The host can turn this option on or off at any time. With the room public, the code is not shown, because nobody needs it.
On the same Wi-Fi
In the app, the Create Wi-Fi room option works without outside internet: everything runs on your home network. Nearby rooms show up on their own on the join screen. It is great for parties and for playing with family in the same room, one phone per person. Wi-Fi rooms only work in the app: the browser blocks connections to the local network.
Connection and lag
If both devices can, the game opens a direct channel between them, and lag stays low. When that is not possible, the match goes through a backup server, and lag rises a little, but the game stays the same. The indicator in the corner of the screen shows the current path and the estimated lag. If your connection drops, go back to the room: the game recognizes you and gives you back your spot.
Ranking and leagues
Every match between two or more people counts on the ranking. A win is worth 3 points and each round won is worth 1, so whoever plays a lot climbs even without always winning. There is a monthly table and an all-time one. Playing only against bots does not count.
To compete only with your crew, create a private league: it has its own code and a table just for you. The host picks the league in the room and the result is sent at the end of each match.
Tips for organizing
- Agree on the number of rounds beforehand: three is the default and fits well in an afternoon.
- For groups of four, use the big arenas. For pairs, the Duel.
- Add bots to fill the room without waiting. The easy level is good for beginners.
